This award winning olive oil, sold by Selfridges on their own website, so it must be good, is a blend of Arbequina, Hojiblanca and Picual olive varieties.
Their master blender adjusts the blend each harvest to ensure the optimum taste. So the oil evolves with each harvest and conditions of the previous year.
The aroma has touches of recently cut grass, tomato, green olive and hints of citrus and dried fruits.
It has a smooth flavour, utilising the combination of the three olive varieties, and overall is a medium intensity, well balanced exceptionally fresh and high quality-premium extra virgin olive oil.
