Son Mesquidassa is an estate and olive oil mill located halfway between the sea and the Tramuntana mountain range, in the region of Felanitx and in the shadow of Puig de Sant Salvador. With almost 100 hectares and more than 150,000 olive trees, it is the largest agricultural estate of its kind in Majorca.
We came across this olive oil whilst on holiday in Port de Soller in Majorca.
Their olive oil, aceite, has a Mediterranean character and delicate aromas of tomato, ripe apple and banana, almond, artichoke and a very soft green grass flavour. It is a beautifully balanced authentic flavour that will transport you to a vista of their olive tree groves in Mallorca.
